I wish this little apple tree was in my backyard. What a perfect little hideaway. I would put a blanket right under it, lie on my back and breathe deeply. Oh, could you imagine the fragrance of the air under that tree? And the blossoms would look so pretty against the sky.
I would linger there much of the afternoon, plucking those dandelions and scattering my wishes across the orchard grasses.
I could also see myself picnicking there...some little sandwiches, some ripe fresh fruit, a little chocolate.
And some poetry. Yes.
It looks like a spot where dreams are dreamt.
ReplyDeleteWatch out for the bumblebees! My hammock used to be strung between my two apple trees but had to be moved while those busy guys are happily pollinating!
ReplyDeletemmmm..... this looks like a magical spot Jaime. I think I shall 'dream myself here' this afternoon during my department meeting.... ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you!

I could linger there too. All day. Also, bubbles are a must for the picnic.
ReplyDeleteDreamy....like we stepped into a fairy tale.
ReplyDeleteAnd - a little chocolate..for sure! What a beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteWhat a divine spot. First I would need my allergy medication and then I would bring extra chocolate! Ha! Always loving beauty with my tummy!
ReplyDeletei haven't seen an apple tree in yeras, and never have seen one in bloom, and find it not coincidental at all that just last night the characters in the book i am reading laid amongst fallen apple blossoms and . . . mmm, well, you know. ;-) after seeing this, i totally understand.
