Coming Back to Center

The world is too full of beauty to dwell in sadness for too long.

There will be moments, I am sure, where I will surrender to whatever it is that hurts. There will be many of them ... I feel deeply. And I love that I do.

But today, I stepped out in nature.... to be present with it, to accept its peace offerings. The natural world truly is the greatest elixir for a weary soul.

Breathing deeply. Accepting what is.
No matter what, there is always beauty. Everywhere. I am open.

Ah yes. Nature. Beauty. Soothing. Healing.
I understand the feeling deeply and am glad you are stepping out of sadness. Even if just for now. Holding you in my thoughts and prayers.

There you go. You are getting back into your "element". The same for me. The college stress is heavy indeed. At the end of the day or early in the morning, I get out there and take deep breaths. Isn't it amazing how it is indeed an elixir for the soul. That is such an apt description. I wish I could be in your kitchen, feed you some nice warm scones and help you feel better....sending cyber hugs!

Oh, my goodness. Those first two photos made me gasp. All of them really, but especially those two. They almost made me want to pick up my camera again (apparently we are on a break). Such intense yet soft beauty.

There is something about the healing powers of nature..it's grounding simplicity and beauty. You've captured it here - both in words and images so well!

You are. You are so open. Open to beauty and to love. It's one of the things I love about you.

Yes, nature soothes like nothing else. Perhaps it is the vast expanse that makes our own problems seem small in comparison. Or the wonder and the magic that unfold in every seed head, every raindrop.

Either way, I am glad you found your comfort.
