I have learned to love photography and mixed media art because it lies within my capabilities and satisfies that desire for the most part. But there are still many times when I wish I could draw or paint, escape visually instead of just through words.Amyhttp://wingedpaths.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7887931000695497136.post-85637200424286476012013-11-28T13:34:25.526-08:002013-11-28T13:34:25.526-08:00It's Thanksgiving Day, and our family eats an ...It's Thanksgiving Day, and our family eats an early dinner instead of lunch. Just now there is a lull between the hectic preparations and all the guests arriving for the meal. I wanted to take some of that time to visit my blogging friends. I needed to say thank you. Thank you for the inspiration you provide here in your place and for the comments you leave behind when you visit mine. Happy Thanksgiving, friend. I miss you. I mention this especially since in our book we have a magnificent tree. When you spoke of sitting under a magnificent tree to write, I immediately pictured you beneath the tree from our story. And then I was delighted by the layers of this, so I needed to share it with you.

I love to draw and paint, but I feel very much like you do about photography. I'll be patient with writing, but I do love the more immediate gratification of photography. Speaking of which, this photo is absolutely beautiful, my friend. I so hope you are thriving and happy. xo GigiGigi Thibodeauhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15326335927273800932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7887931000695497136.post-45640074819885928172013-11-09T21:14:05.676-08:002013-11-09T21:14:05.676-08:00{I hope this isn't a duplicate! Hmmm... lovely!
I
have always wanted to be a writer as well, even going so far as to submit a few short stories into magazines. (Back in the day when they had short stories in magazines...do they anymore? Maybe I'm just reading the wrong kind of magazines. LOL!)

I had two articles published for work that went across Saskatchewan. My only claim to writing fame. Sad I know. Haha!

You have a talent for photography that is for sure. And it's never too late to do something. Perhaps a photo-book for children??

Enjoy October Jaime.
